Land, then get to the show

Incheon Airport to Seoul

Four ways into the city, with real 2026 costs and times, plus the last-train timing that catches people out when they land the night before a concert.

AREX Express Train

Cost
about ₩13,000
Time
43–51 min to Seoul Station, nonstop
Best for
Fastest fixed-time ride to central Seoul
  • Nonstop ICN Terminal 1 (and T2) to Seoul Station, where you transfer to Line 1/4 or the KTX.
  • First train about 05:20, last about 22:48 from T1, so a late landing misses it.

AREX All-Stop Train

Cost
about ₩4,750–5,350 with T-money
Time
59–66 min to Seoul Station
Best for
Cheapest way in, and it stops at handy spots like Gimpo, Hongik Univ, and Digital Media City
  • Same line, just stops everywhere. Tap in with a T-money card.
  • Runs latest of the trains, last departure from ICN around 23:38, still tight after a very late flight.

Airport Limousine Bus

Cost
about ₩17,000
Time
70–90 min depending on traffic
Best for
No transfers, a seat, and a drop near your stay area with luggage
  • Direct routes to Myeongdong, Gangnam, Jamsil, Hongdae and more, so you skip dragging bags through subway transfers.
  • Buses run into the late evening; check the route board at arrivals for the last departure to your area.

Taxi / Kakao T

Cost
about ₩65,000–100,000 including tolls
Time
60–80 min depending on traffic
Best for
Late arrivals, groups splitting the fare, or going straight to an airport-side hotel
  • Worth it after the trains stop, or split across a group. The Incheon Bridge toll dropped in 2026, so it is a bit cheaper than before.
  • Use the official taxi rank or Kakao T; ignore drivers who approach you inside the terminal.

For concert-goers specifically

  • Landing the night before a show? If you arrive after roughly 23:00 the trains are done, so plan on the bus (if a late one runs to your area) or a taxi, and do not assume the AREX.
  • Some venues are right at the airport side. INSPIRE Arena is on Yeongjong Island a few minutes from ICN, so for those shows you may not need to go into Seoul at all.
  • Flying in via Gimpo (GMP), often used for flights from Japan? It is much closer to Seoul on Line 5/9 and the AREX, so the trip in is shorter and cheaper.
  • Prices and last-departure times shift, so confirm the current schedule on the day before you commit, especially for a late arrival.

Already know your show? Each concert guide has the cheaper stay areas and the way home after, the luggage guide covers where to drop your bags, and if you are seeing more than one show, the multi-show base guide picks the neighborhood that reaches them all. Once you are in the city, grab a T-money card to tap through the subway and buses.
